Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will assist in ensuring that the company receives timely payment for goods and services offered to customers.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will perform routine accounting work related to accounts receivable and credit and collection functions.
Their task is to secure revenue by means of verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience and/or ability required.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Receivable Manager.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and other accounting software programs.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
Proficiency in MS word, excel, and record keeping Detail oriented, with accurate data entry skills Effective verbal and written communication skills SAP experience a plus Duties/
Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable portfolio of assigned accounts.
Process and post cash transactions and receipts.
Update daily cash tracking and reporting.
Manage processes to facilitate the validation, analyzation, and reconciliation in order to expedite resolutions of customer/sales deductions.
Participate at meetings fir purposes of reviewing risk accounts as well as resolving deductions and chargebacks.
Prepare various accounts receivable reports and analyses.
Develop and maintain strong customer relations.
